lives and prevents chaos. Mathematics helps us understand the world and provides an effective way of building mental discipline. Math encourages logical reasoning, critical thinking ,creative
thinking , abstract or spatial thinking ,problem-solving ability ,and even effective communication skills.
The world of today which leans more and more on heavily on science and technology, demands more and more mathematical knowledge on the part of its people. So it is necessary to prepare a child with a strong base of mathematical knowledge to face the challenges of the modern technological society.
Mathematics is plays important role in accelerating the social economic and technological growth of nation, it is more so in INDIA as nation is rapidly moving towards globalization in all aspects.
Mathematics is an important subject with broad applicability to day to day life, yet mathematics is often considered as a difficult subject in schools. Mathematics is one of the major subject in the school education which is considered as the toughest subject in the existing subjects. Many school going students scared of the subject like scaring from an evil. Around the world the fear of mathematics is spreading and student think they will fail in subject. Some students also think that mathematics is the score running subject which can ruin the score and academic marks of the students, but we believe if students have ethics to learn mathematics then it can be the best or favorite subject .
Many people enjoy math’s at school and out of school as well. Some of us will probably use mathematical language comfortably. Many parents will teach children to understand basic concepts such as the counting numbers and simple fractions at young age. Many children do enjoy math’s but Unfortunately, a large section of the population found school math’s so confusing and distressing, and start avoiding Mathematics.
We need to understand the concepts of numbers and quantities because we required it in our daily routines, our lives are governed by time to understand time we need math’s. Math’s is all around us we see patterns in arts and music. Business need to make intelligent guesses and estimates of how much something is going to cost, how many peoples need their products, how fast it is going to sell, we need to keep track of our bank accounts and ensure we do not spend more than our income.
Mathematics is the universal language which is applied in almost every aspect of life, knowingly or unknowingly we all use basic mathematics concepts in our daily life.
How much should I spend today? When I will be able to buy a new car? Should I save more? How will I be able to pay my EMIs? Such thoughts usually come in our minds. The simple answer to such type of question is math’s. We prepare budgets based on simple calculations with the help of simple mathematical concepts. So, we can’t say, I am not going to study math’s ever! Everything which is going around us is somehow related to math’s only.
A few examples include the number of spirals in a pine cone, pineapple or seeds in a sunflower, or the number of petals on a flower. The numbers in this sequence also form a unique shape known as a Fibonacci spiral, which again, we see in nature in the form of shells and the shape of hurricanes.
