SOLO FOLK DANCE COMPETITION
FRENZY FLAVOUR’S OF FOLK
 

To promote cultural awareness, creativity, and confidence among students through the traditional dance form , that is deeply rooted in the custom and heritage of community.

Event Details: 
-    Class: 3rd to 5th
-    Dance Style: Solo folk dance performances
-    Theme: Traditional Indian folk dances
-    Date :  23/08/2025

Solo Folk Dance Competition Rules:
Round 1: Video Submission
1.    Interested students must submit a 1 minute 30 seconds video showcasing their folk dance performance.
2.    Videos should be sent to the class teacher by 14/08/2025
3.    Videos should be clear and of good quality.
4.    Students can choose any traditional Indian folk dance style for their performance.

Round 2: Live Performance
1.    Selected students will perform live in school.
2.    Performances should not exceed 2 minutes .
3.    Students must wear traditional costumes and use props relevant to their chosen folk dance style.
4.    Students should send the music to the dance teacher :-

5.    The decision of the judges will be final.

General Rules
1.    Originality and creativity will be appreciated.
2.    Students should respect the judges' decisions.
3.    Any attempts to disrupt the competition may lead to disqualification.

By following these rules, students can showcase their talents and appreciate India's rich cultural heritage through folk dance.
